It’s been a year since Apple unveiled the iPhone 6s, and that means we’re fast approaching the iPhone 7 release date. Apple’s next smartphone should be with us in a matter of weeks, and in the meantime, rumours and leaks are giving us a better picture of what to expect from the iPhone 7.

Release date

If there’s been one constant about Apple’s major iPhone launches, it’s that they come around just once a year. Given that the iPhone 6s launched in late September 2015, a year after the previous iPhone 6, it’s pretty much certain that the iPhone 7 will be with us in September – with most sources suggesting the handset will be unveiled on 6 or 7 September.
