BREAKING: Niger Delta Avengers bomb NNPC, Chevron facilities
The militant group Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) has bombed oil facilities belonging to Chevron and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
The spokesperson of the group Mudoch Agbinibo revealed this in a brief statement. He said: “At 10pm Niger Delta Avengers blew up Chevron Well 10 close to Otunana flow station. “Other attacks were carried out at 11:15pm.
Nigerdelta Avengers blow up NPDC Manifold close to Banta and two PPMC/NNPC crude oil trunk Lines.”
The government of Muhammadu Buhari has made moves to end the attacks, comprising a reported ceasefire, while the militants denied being party to it.
The Avengers have previously used Twitter to claim responsibility but their account @NDAvengers was marked as suspended.
